| Background: | This solicitation will cover the period of TRB's fiscal year 2011 that begins July 1, 2010, and ends June 30, 2011. Funds committed by paraticipating States will be from their Federal fiscal year 2010 funding. Consult the attached spreadsheet for the amount for individual States. |
| Objectives: | To provide a mechanism for State transportation departments to support the TRB's core program and services. |
| Scope of Work: | This pooled fund study permits States to make their contributions to the TRB Core Program instead of sending their contributions to TRB directly. The TRB Core Program provides support funding for the TRB annual meeting, committee structure, State visits by TRB, and the TRB publication program. |
| Comments: | The amount for each State is listed in the spreadsheet attached to this page. Commitments for TRB fiscal year 2011 (July 1 2010 - June 30, 2011) should be made by February 26, 2010, and transferred to FHWA using Form FHWA 1576 by March 31, 2010. |
